Must lying his off on this call. Optimus robot will be working in Tesla factories this year and sell it externally next year. :dead: :dead:
Announced that they 'may' start selling robots next year, announced they're 'in talks' with one automaker to license FSD, after canceling plans for a cheaper model and laying off more than 10% of employees they announce plans to build a cheaper model at the end of 2025.

Stock goes up 11% after hours :mjlol:

To you want a laugh, check out the Stock pumpers on YouTube. You would think they hit record profits and sales numbers judging by the reactions. :mjlol:

They are pumping the stock to get new retail suckers because I doubt all these people are this guileble. Tesla stock is one big MLM con.

Look at this shyt.

The market is stupid as fukk when it comes to charismatic leaders with mass followings.

But the market loved Tesla reassuring the world that, actually, cheaper cars are coming. As Jefferies analysts said in a note after the report, "first impression for us is CEO Musk appeasing the market by accelerating new product launches."

As Citi analysts wrote in a note after earnings, "We like Tesla's product pivot that appears to prioritize speed and launch/redesign on existing capacity."

When has Musk ever been able to "accelerate new product launches"? All he's doing is accelerating the rate of bullshyt announcements that won't transpire, as always. :mjlol:

"During the call, when vice president of vehicle engineering Lars Moravy dodged a question about the specific timeline for a mass market $25,000 vehicle, Musk interjected to say that more details will come at Tesla's Aug. 8 robotaxi unveiling. But he added his patented visionary flourish: “The way to think of Tesla is almost entirely in terms of solving autonomy and being able to turn on that autonomy for a gigantic fleet.”

Let's ignore that Tesla is doing autonomy horribly and other carmakers are going to be the ones to "solve" it. :dead:

These investors are fukking idiots. He's not even a charismatic leader anymore, he ruined his perfectly crafted big brained real world Tony Stark PR image.

I understand retail investors that are in too deep and now embarrassed to admit that the thing they evangelized for and put their life savings into might be a lie. So now they lie to themselves and others, consciously or unconsciously, in order to prop up the house of cards.

But institutional investors and analysts are sinister and incompetent. They know Musk cancelled plans for a new platform to create a cheaper model, they know he only decided to reverse his stance in order to appease the market and there are no actual plans in place to do it, they know things he promised will never come to fruition and they still love it.

A new car model that's supposed to be released in 2025 would have to be on the road right now going through all the tests in order to be ready for 2025. Musk just pulled that announcement out of his ass, in two weeks between Reuters report and earnings call, in order to stop the stock price from spiraling.

Also it will be impossible to make a 25k model on the existing Model 3 platform. It's already barebones as it is with almost every button and even stalks removed.
