Ain’t no way y’all really justifying these housing prices by saying Gen Z is just too lazy to make money:dwillhuh:

I don’t even know why I even bothered responding.

The graphs are right there showing what is going on and we’re hearing oldheads talk about sell your Iphone :dead:

@A Tribe Called Quest ™ Best of luck with your situation and may you see better days, you’re African iirc so look into buying back home cause US/UK is cooked.

You gotta be Gen X or something because you seem very much detached to the realities that millennials and younger generations face. My first apartment as an adult was a 1 bedroom & was less than 700 a month. In Charlotte. I was making like $20 an hour. This was more than a decade ago. But apparently some companies still want ppl working for the dub and less… but good luck finding a one bedroom for less than 1200 or a 2 bedroom less than 1600

Older black folks who peddle white conservative talking points are just sad. They don't have a fraction of the wealth or success that their older white counterparts have but will starting talking just like them the second they have a sliver of financial security.

It's like those folks making $20/hour looking down on and mocking folks making $15 and below. Damn near at the bottom of the totem pole themselves but they're content with it as long as they think they're better off than the person under them.

Generation X played house a lot too.. Millennials and Gen Z want to do it on their own. Thats the difference..

Gen-Z Axioms:

Don't get married.
Leisure time >>>> Work
College is a scam.
'Men can get pregnant'.

No wonder they're all broke, miserable, and confused.

:dead: man you hell....you got no pity for these young folks.
Nope. None.

Tried giving them advice many, many, many times. They want to live off someone else's work/not work at all, and then try to stunt on cats putting in the work they feel is 'beneath them'.

Let their AC/Heat/hot water go out, or, their garbage don't get picked up, and watch what happens.

House Price to Income Ratio has gone through the roof with minimal wage growth but we're lazy :unimpressed:

In the middle of rampant inflation and cost of living issues but we're lazy :unimpressed:

Respond if you want but I can't even be bothered to counter these talking points in 2023. This is deeper than Gen Z.
Nah, yall lazy. How many of yall quit your jobs because they felt as if they were undervalued at their jobs.

Problem is yall all want to be bosses, and minimum jobs is beneath yall. Guess what, every generation before had to get to grinding to get to making ends meet. Yall don’t want to do that.

Run Thru U Like Skattebo
Sad part is there are plenty of homes. Most people just drive by abandoned or dilapidated homes that could be fixed up. The government could pay to fix up and sell them.

Just like with most things, everyone is just chasing the newest build homes just because, even though a lot of them are crappy built subdivisions
in my city they found the cheapest move in ready home and it was $250k and looked like a trap house. c'mon, now...

This is a recipe for disaster if you have money. When you have groups of people congregating in cramped housing they'll start exchanging ideas.

When you take away people's hope that they can have the same level of prosperity their parents had, you create people whose depression can turn to radical movements.

The most dangerous kind of person is one who feels he has nothing to lose. You're an absolute moron if you create the kind of conditions that produce MILLIONS of this type of person.
