they are in the upper tier of comic book movies with Blade (1997), Spider Man 1/2, The Dark Knight, Logan, Captain America: Winter Soldier & Civil War, Avengers (2012) and Infinity War. I guess I'd add Guardians of the Galaxy & Black Panther to that upper tier but the third act was mid IMO

As a gen z myself i can attest to this most of my friends nearly all have seen all the spider man movies, play the games and love the story, maybe because we all grew up in the age of the prime movies and still to this day enjoy it

Yeah, turning comics to live action is exciting. Seeing a big budget motion comic is less exciting. Animation cannot compete with live action for me.
Yeah spider verse was solid but the hype for these cartoons is nerd shyt to me lol. I could just be ignorant as hell but I can't get hyped watching cartoons. Like there is good content but I still classifify it seperate from live action film

I like Miles but the whole Spiderverse thing is getting corny. Like now they done repurposed Madame Web into a group of Spiderwomen. Hollywood is about to run it into the ground like they do every property that gets hot.

I haven't even seen the sequel yet and I agree. The first one is the best Spider-Man movie ever and I hear the 2nd one is better. So yes

Too early to say.

If the stick the landing with Beyond the Spider-Verse, an argument could definitely be made.

If the drop the ball, it will sour the entire trilogy.
