The more I see of this (and I see a lot because the trailer for it plays before every gotdamn movie that has come out for the past 8 months) the less I care.
I have seen the Redford Gatsby flick and the alan Ladd one from the 40s so its not even the subject matter that disinteresats. I am thinking it is Baz Lurhmann. Never been a fan of the dude's movies.

I don't know how any self respecting black man can support white nostalgia for the "good ole days". All I needed to know about the show was that it was about white men in the 50s and I knew it would be bullshyt.

Stop trolling breh. I'm a black guy from Southeast DC that went to an HBCU over every PWI that offered me a scholarship just to keep my family's legacy going. events in the book could almost be taking place right now, in modern setting almost.
