Assad has been demonized by the neo cons and war mongers. Whoever these cancers want to topple I side with. They are always on the wrong side of history and now more than ever.

Assad is the reason why the whole Levant haven't collapsed into more chaos. Yes I'd reason with him and arm him fully

Interesting. I haven't heard anyone outright say they reason with assad considering how many civilians he has deliberately killed. Is your view widely held?

Most people of the Levant would agree with me except for Salafists and Zionists but both cannot be reasoned with so we don't bother. All minorities have sided with Assad and a big amount of Sunnis too.

It's a civil war it ain't about killing your people. Civil wars kill people and in Syria's case the alternative is absolute slaughter. So yea you fight with whatever you've got.

The only reason you're told otherwise is because media personalities and politicians slurp on too much Israeli and Saudi semen to be reasonable. They're beyond compromised

I honestly don't understand how folks think in any way that this could go well. Sounds like it would be a precursor to more wars (around the region & into europe) and fukkery even if you say Russia would abandon heir ally and avoid any real confrontation with us.

I'm skeptical that "all minorities" and "most people of the Levant" have sided with Assad because that seems to contradict what I read from various writers, but I admit I have more reading to do.

Also, the premise that anyone America opposes should automatically be sided with is not a strong argument, unless it is your belief that the US should not involve itself in the affairs of other countries even when atrocities are being committed against the citizens of a country by its own government.

Generally speaking, do you think it is reasonable to be a non-Syrian and claim to know what is best for syrians who are hopeless and vulnerable?
