The Syrian conflict is the most mind baffling conflict I've witnessed through out my whole life.

The funniest thing in all of this is the progressive media's sudden approval and massive praise for the clown in Orange which they despised until this week.

Fareed Zakaria called Trump a cancer last fukking week and now he's tossing his salad live on TV. Brian Williams from CBS despises Trump yet he's been full of praise and within a 30 second TV segment he called the strike beautiful and used the word beautiful 3 times to describe tomahawk missiles. The only beautiful thing is his fake story about Hezbollah striking his chopper in Lebanon 20 years ago. fukking fraud.

Jake Tapper, Michael Weiss, Morning Joe, I could go on and on about media personalities which were hostile towards Donald the molester yet they've somehow managed to shower him with praise.

I remember mentioning to friends recently that I thought the media and the elite hated Trump for his neutral stance on Syria, the neo cons were always that way, blood thirsty and greedy sons of whores but the so called leftist liberal media outlets have been sounding the war horn since 2012.

Which gets me thinking why? And how much money have the cancerous regimes of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel gave to lobbyists and media personalities. From my perspective siding with the rebels in Syria is a death sentence to every minority in the Levant and will turn the nation into amother Afganistan with tribes and extremists running the thing into the ground.

Israel's end game is simple in this, they want an eventual war with Lebanon and Iran and Saudi Arabia openly calls for the slaughter of Shia and Alawites.

And for some fukking cancerous reason our buffoon in charge which actually labeled Saudi Arabia as the leading sponsor of terror prior to his presidency has done a complete 360 (obviously), I hope he chokes on a golf ball tonight.

If you knew then it would. But continue to post your opinions as fact....
If you are out of your depth and haven't done any reading or studying, just say so, trying to attack me under whats commonly known by anyone who does a bit of research, isn't helping you though

CNN and MSNBC is not progressive media. They're all bought out by the same war profiteers that are gung ho to go at Syria like you mentioned.

Most of the Democratic party is on the same wavelength as them, neither are progressive. But since they're not barbarians when it comes to social issues like conservatives they get grouped together with true leftist/progressives to the general masses.

WASHINGTON, DC
Interesting take from the Kurds. They were attacked with chemical weapons in their distrct in Aleppo by rebels. They in turned allied with the Syrian army to help re-take the city.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – The co-leader of the main Kurdish party in Syrian Kurdistan, Salih Muslim, has called on the US to extend strikes against every Syrian party that has chemical weapons. “We hope that the United States will not confine itself to punishing the Syrian regime alone, because there are a lot of chemical weapons in Syria and others parties have also used it, in Sheikh Maqsoud [Aleppo Kurdish District], in Rojava [Syrian Kurdistan], and Raqqa,”

Muslim said as he was speaking to US-funded Voice of America from Brussels, naming alleged chemical attacks by ISIS and Syrian opposition forces.

Muslim said that he cannot assess whether or not the US strikes against a Syrian airbase overnight will have a positive or negative results on the ground. “We will look at the results,” he said. He however said that this may force parties on the ground to realize that there is not a military solution to the six-year civil in Syria that has claimed half a million lives, by some estimates. From this perspective, the strikes may turn out to be good, he noted.

“We believe that this attack must yield positive results since the parties who did not believe in a political solution may reconsider and see that there is no military solution,” Muslim argued, explaining that the US was “forced” to take actions in an atmosphere where they were left with no other options. Muslim is the co-leader of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the political party in northern Syria aligned with the armed YPG who are receiving military backing from the US-led coalition as part of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). He has helped to carve out a mainly Kurdish enclave in northern Syria.

Muslim hoped that the US strikes will not be a “one-off” option and called on the US to also target other Syrian armed groups, whom he said have their hands on the banned weapons. Asked about US involvement, the PYD leader said that regional and international powers have now entered the Syrian civil war with their own forces following a period of waging a “proxy war.” The US is already involved to such an extent that it cannot “turn its back” on Syria, he argued, especially in its war against ISIS where it is helping the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in their campaign to defeat the extremist group in Raqqa, the ISIS de-facto capital in Syria.

PYD leader: US strikes should target all who use chemical weapons in Syria

Democrats in Washington using this as an opportunity to criticize the travel ban shows that either they are fools, or are pandering to fools.
I'm leaning towards the latter.

Why? The position hasn't changed. If you are in a country dropping bombs and displacing a large portion of their population then you should be willing to take in some refugees because you were complicit in their situation. :yeshrug:
