i know kg played decently in the playoffs but 34 mil is crazy. I did like the celts draft picks with sullinger and fab melo; so those guys should be able to give him time to rest during the regular season. To me he's prob gonna be playing about 40-60% of the reg season games so he could "rest" for the playoffs and that doesnt deserve 34 mil.

Garnett was their most impactful player and has been that since 2008. Every advanced stat points to that and their defense collapse without him on the floor. Y'all complaing about 11 mill a year, you rather them spend 9 mill a year on Haywood? Smh. Some of you are straight up clowns.

As long as Pierce fat ass contract is on the books, this team isn't rebuilding. It's that simple. Ainge did the right thing, especially now that he grabbed an NBA ready PF in the draft who could back-up Garnett which means Bass could be signed-and-traded for value.
