Ray already has a title. Get paid.

I feel the same way about Nash. fukk chasing a ring. you're 35+ and a team like Toronto might overpay like a b*stard? Take the money. Once you retire how quickly people forget. You're never going to make money like this again and you have 30+ years left on this earth.

But I'm sure all that losing if he went to Toronto would take a toll. When you're that old you might not feel as motivated to get up everyday to play for a loser than you would with a winning team

smh @ people not seeing how this makes perfect sense.

1. KG is actually underpaid in this deal for what he provides. Does anyone pay attention? Every time KG leaves the court the paint opens up like a backpage ho.

2. The conference is still weak.

3. Miami Heat are better, yes. Even when both teams are healthy I would still say the Heat are better. BUT..say Wade goes down? Then all of a sudden Boston is looking at the East like :ohlawd:

I'm glad some of you aren't GM's :heh:

edit:: The big boy is coming over though. There's some people/potential .. rumors they might make a play for Gasol also. I mean, in the East it doesn't take much to grab a 6-7 seed. Plus, Nash is a national hero. He wouldn't be dumb enough to turn down a four year deal for excellent money and instead play for peanuts elsewhere even if he can ring chase to a title.

I think Rose's ACL played into this, Botston probably feels if they can just get by Miami they have a shot at another ring, they don't but don't really see an alternative for them.

Well the magic have become a non factor, and there's a good chance Rose may not be 100% next season. The C's found themselves the 2nd best squad in the east, and only had to win 1 more game to get to the finals. They're gearing up to repeat this scenario, while changing a few things and crossing fingers they're all healthy by playoffs time.:manny:
