Gang Related Season 1 thread

As a big fan of movies, I basically felt like they were COPYING "The Godfather" with Daniel and it felt forced...
If the Acosta gang is now with the Lords, ok BUT didn't the Acosta gang just give up almost all their real estate?
To put the deal between the Acosta and Metas into math the transfer was at MINIMUM 40-50% done...

Like they were only planning on keeping Javier alive till he transferred over the LAST few bits of the enterprise...
It seemed like they were just waiting on the last few bits of the deal when they talked about it...

But that's all us guessing lets talk about how the Metas let the GTF team walk away after cutting the bosses daughter and killing those soldiers...

I think the Metas were EXPECTING Chapel and his team to go after them, which is why they even USED the daughter as a decoy to begin with. They were well prepared and without question, the Meta leader gives two shiits about personal feelings. Them dudes are STRICTLY about literal cutthroat business. And that's the fatal flaw about Chapel AND Ryan, they allowed their personal feelings get in the way. The Meta boss may loves his daughter, but he's not going to sell out his own integrity just to save his daughter, and that's what Chapel did not expect. Dude was straight up with Chapel, "do what you will, but they'll be repercussions for your actions". And that's the truth.

Ryan simpin' ass ways is WHY the Acostas couldn't get the upper-hand. When Daniel was forced to be kidnapped until Javier paid the Metas, neither Javier OR Daniel took that shyt to heart. It even made Daniel more hardcore and accept his destiny that he eventually is at now. In the words of THE WIRE, "the game is the game". Don't let your own personal feeling get it twisted.

i dont watch 24 so i cant comment on that, all i know for a fact is that show had one of those goat first seasons.....the amount of fukkery in just 13 eps

If it's that good, how does it compare to the Cable crime dramas? 1 of the reasons I ignored this show is because I needed to get into "The Shield" & I'm currently watching it now. Is this show as good as "The Shield"?

this is a GOOD show , don't expect no breaking bad, wire , sopranos level of acting , cause its not & some of the action seasons are laughable, but they got the drama aspect on point

he said they would decide based on which storyline was best for season 2

Season 2 could have some interesting story lines if it were to get renewed...

1. Daniel taking over the family
2. What will Carlos do once he gets back to walking
3. What's Ryan's next move
4. Will IA reopen the case against Ryan and will he tell Chapel about the voicemail he received from Jessica? What will the DA do now that she knows about Ryan and (blackmail)
5. The story behind Kim and his sister
6. What will become of the chick with HIV and her incarcerated brother
7. Metas war against the Acosta's for setting them up
I'm sure I missed some other stories that can be looked into

What's up with the Mexican cartel always cutting off the eyelids of people? I've seen this on 3 different shows
