But do they know, that we know?

yeah they know..they are not hiding it..they pull out the games from sleeves and sell it directly to customers..the only way to stop this is not to buy it...unfortunately they can do it because its still considered "new" because it wasnt sold before....just like in the car industry a car is still considered "new" as long as it has under 5k miles....thats why they can sell test driven cars as not "used" its considered "new" or they can take a couple bucks off if higher miles and give you a "demo" rate discount.

I feel lucky to have a local game business near me. I've been buying and selling with them for 15 years now and they never do funny shyt.

I go in the gamespot once in a while but their always over priced. Theyll be selling a used game for 39.99 and I go down the road to the locally owned shop and they have the same game for 19.99.

This makes zero sense because if someone took it home, and played it, it was used. Something being sold doesnt make it used, using it makes it used.

O lord this company may have demonic roots yall.

Arent games supposed to have a company seal of some kind on the top of the game after you open the plastic. That hard sticker they put on the crease of the game?

So why do they do this? How do they profit from it?

When I bought Skyim they were trying to sell me an open case as new and I was like :ohhh::dahell::pacspit:

I walked out and just ordered from amazon. I have not been to a gamestop since then.

they are just selling the last ones they have on hand until the new shipment comes back and they can restock the shelves
