Finally wrapped VC 1. Honestly outside of Code Vein it was one of the tougher JRPG's on my list. It was kind of stressful, but that is the appeal of a good strategy game. The story and writing were actually pretty good and solid for a JRPG. It had cute moments, but it knew how to catch you in your feelings. The main cast was pretty awesome and likable and elevated this aspect of it.

Any FE fan or turn-based strategy RPG fan will really enjoy this game. Granted if your only experience with this game is Three Houses I will offer this fair warning. This game will have moments where it will KICK YOUR ASS. It is not as punishing when compared to older Fire Emblem games, but you don't have a turn wheel like the past 2 FE games. Not sure if I want to emulate 2 or 3 before playing 4. Regardless I became a big fan of the series.

Now to finally start playing the Trails series. Starting with Trails in the Sky.

Took me a year and a half to complete that part, the game didn't interest me but then I got hooked on it during lockdown.

I'll play the 3rd one, take a break then play the Crossbell series after I'm done with Last Of Us 2 and Tales Of Berseria.

Ain't touching Cold Steel till probably later in the year or next year.
