Can’t believe I had missed out on so much over the years :wow:

I’ve recently been eying RdR2 and P5R because they are both like $20 right now, but I’ve been on the fence based on the time I may have to devote to them before they really get going.

I really enjoyed FF7 Remake probably due to it being based on one of my favorite games from the PS1 era. I wasn't expecting it to follow the exact same story as the original, and they definitely added some stuff in this game to probably to stretch out the game. My biggest problem I guess is that it's only the first part of the game and there's no telling when the rest of it will be released. I also am a little concerned about how save transfers will work from this game to the PS5 and whether or not any progress will be saved. I doubt it though. It's definitely worth a play through if you enjoyed the original especially if you can get it at a discount. It was honestly the reason I got a PS4, and I don't regret because it opened up the doors for a lot of other games.

As for TLOU2, I'm a little more torn. I'll start by saying I REALLY enjoyed the gameplay and the visuals, and unlike a lot of people, I didn't really mind the story so much as far as content, but I feel like it dragged on a little longer than maybe it should have, and if i'm being honest, there were times when i wished the cutscenes would end so I could get back to playing the game. I would still recommend it though.

Just finally completed this with my 7 year old girl this evening. There needs to be more games like this that can be co-oped the entire main story play-through. Cool game, but the controls are cumbersome at times. 8/10.

14 Marvel's Avengers 9/9/2020
15 Astro's Playroom 11/28/2020
16 Spiderman: Miles Morales 11/29/2020

Yep. All since covid really jumped off back in March. Before this I hadn’t played video games regularly since like 2011. A few of the really old games like Dino crisis, Final fantasy X, and recently chrono cross that I finished last week, weren’t from the start though. I just picked up from where I left off on old saves from years ago and finally finished them.

The first person shooter Ps3 games had pretty short campaigns so they didn’t take long. Most of the PS4 games are in the last six months or so. It also helped that I had three different 10 day vacations during that stretch when I couldn’t really do much else anyway.

I didn’t platinum any of the games though. The closest I got was probably with Ghosts and Spider-Man.
