GOWR

In the middle of playing GOWR, CDPR dropped the reup for Witcher 3 and i thought cool lemme finally do a 2nd playthrough.

Gameplay is night and day and the age was immediately apparent

When I finished Elden Ring I jumped back into Sekiro after dodging it for so long.
Forgot how smooth it felt compared to other Soulslike joints.

Armored core feels better than any game i’ve played in years :manny:

Last game that felt so fluid and responsive was MGSV

Too many games prioritize animations over gameplay.

Detailed Animations are cool the first time you see them. The rest of the time i just wanna play the game.
Nah, games that have detailed animations yet feel great when playing are....

Actually nvm this is a VERY subtle troll attempt. Aborting response. :mjlol:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
GTA games in general just feel like molasses. I wish they made the controls more fluid. It boggles my mind that GTA V got so much praise despite feeling like a regression from Max Payne 3.
To make the flip off this... The open world of every open world game is good... UNTIL you play a Rockstar game and see the scale and level of detail and realize other games don't even come close

I feel like God of War Ragnarok is extremely underrated not overall critically but when it comes to the smoothness of the gameplay.

The first one might have been the GOAT third person combat...the sequel raised the roof.

Too bad the damned game has too many cutscenes.
