We know how Dunk and Egg ends, with Aegon the Unlucky celebrating the birth of his grandsire, Rhaegar Targayran (the last dragon) at the retreat at Summer hall. Rhaegar was in such a hurry to make it to the ceremony, that he was born right outside the palace on the river bank, missing the festivities inside.

Literally, going to be the only good decision he makes his entire life.

Joe Abercrombie's books are eurocentric too but he's one of the few fantasy authors I know about that make the effort to not make their world 100% CACed out.

I hope him and the Malazan authors get their work picked up for TV or the big screen one day.

Robert Jordan’s Wheel Of Time series was also pretty diverse. The upcoming series will have a bunch of black people in it including two main characters

Heard about the series I didn't know it was diverse thought they were only doing that for the show like Netflix did with Witcher

Robert Jordan created a VERY diverse world. He had descriptions for black people, Asian People, etc

Which book are you on? I'm actually thinking about doing a full reread, including all side stories.
And yeah, not sure if it's touched on in the main series but in the Esslemont books it is told that Emperor Kellanved is black. Add Kalam and Quick Ben and you got some of the major powerplayers,not including the characters belonging to the Tiste.

Not GoT numbers no, especially when they do 2 or 3 shows, I doubt most people want to watch it.
Hell, I've read the books twice, watched the first 5 seasons three times, read the lorebooks & Dunk and Egg and I still feel like I'm not gonna watch it
