I'm actually looking forward to the Red Wedding. Reading it was a surreal experience, the writing was just that good, some of the best in the series. I want to see it more for its portrayal than as a way to move the storylines along.

2nd half of ASOS is arguably the MUCH better half... Battle at the Wall, Joffery's Wedding, the super sewer assault on Mereen, everything dealing with Oberyn Martell, the death of Tywin and more man so much more
that wedding and the death of Tywin are HUGE payoffs from the down this season will end on...however, i feel like because Tyrion killed his dad it was a good thing....i actually liked Tywin and even more so Charles Dance's Tywin on the show....dude acting he commands respect even through the screen

Believe me Stannis is about to start to his power push to the top starting with the wall and being the only person who is actually doing something to save the realm. I cant wait to see the nights watch dead to rights then off in the distance the sword of heroes lightbringer burns bright and Stannis saves the north

One thing im noticing as I read all the books that things come full circle people who find themselves at the top fall down the ladder just as quickly as people climb it(Littlefinger,Bronn) the game of thrones is more like a rollercoaster ride

that is one of the best scenes of the show's short history. definitely one of my favorites.
stannis is a very righteous dude like ned, but i think he has a slight edge to him more than ned did. if stannis had been in ned's shoes in kings landing finding out that joffrey is a b*stard born of incest, he woulda made alot more power moves than ned did. maybe he woulda took renly's advice and taken the kids or something.
