No doubt. The honorable Ned Stark wouldn't have went against his kin like Stannis did
Stannis and Ned woulda fell back to Dragonstone/Winterfell and built up forces and then presented the evidence. The Lannister army wouldn't have stood a chance against the Reach the Riverlands and the North and the Stormlands, hell even Dorne might have declared for Stannis.
yea that woulda been so much wiser. fell back, built their forces up, make some alliances, destroyed the lannisters. let stannis be king with renly as hand or ned as hand. stannis doesnt have male heirs tho so that wouldve been a hurdle. so many possibilities.
also, i was thinking about this today. i play this android game called westeros conquest, its like the game of risk with the westeros map. i couldnt help but notice how fukking close the iron islands are to casterly rock and the westerlands.
how fukking stupid was balon greyjoy for not just going after the lannisters? i mean sure i understand the revenge factor for him, but omg nikkas coulda been running the westerlands right now while robb attacked kings landing. tywin woulda been busy defending casterly rock and woulda never had a chance to get to KL to save joff and cersei.
damn so many possibilities in this world. its just fun to think about.
dont mind me, i spend 11 hour shifts 3 days a week sitting on a loading dock with nothing to do but read and surf the net.

He did the first time his dumb ass islands rebelled, sunk the whole Lannister fleet at Lannisport...then Stannis/Barristan/Rober/Ned stuck a fork in that nikka.
It woulda been a loss again because the westerlands were still under the protection of Kevan who is just as capable but less ruthless than Tywin. Not to mention it is too close to the Riverlands and the capital.
It takes a long time to get anywhere in the North its so large, the Ironborn had took Winterfell, Deepwood Motte, Moat Cailin and Torren's Square before Robb could even make the decision to march home...not to mention the Theon element which SHOULD have solidified the north's capture if it wasn't for his ineptitude.
yea but this time, the lannisters were fighting stannis on one side, renly on the other, and robb on the third. the westerlands coulda got took and all their ships sunk. taking the north only spread the ironmen thin and took them far away from their strength which was their ships. all in all it was a bad plan by balon. nobody can tame the north as bolton is about to find out in winds of winter. nikka coulda had the iron islands and casterly rock with all its gold and he gave it up for revenge for his dead sons who he basically killed himself with his first dumbass rebellion.

haha i just realized how the tv viewers think it was cersei that poisioned jon arryn...wait until they get the suprise this season when it reveals it was little finger who ordered lysa to do it. nikkas gon jump on that peter baelysh squad quick, ESPICIALLY if he also throws lysa out the moon door this season
that is not going to happen until next season
remeber lysa tells this to Sansa and Sansa does not leave Kings Landing until Joffery dies.

yea true. At first i thought about how littlefinger didnt go to the eerye by himself but now that i think about it he did, he just met sansa halfway when she met up with him on that boat that dontos took her to. And when she met lysa during ASOS, lysa and littlefinger were already married right?
they get married as soon as littlefinger picks up Sansa because she is a witness to there wedding.
Except for Bronn and Littlefinger who have been flatout wining since the beginning of the series.
I admire Bronn so much that really I hope he survives the series with his House intact.
Bronn is the most winningest (I don't care if that aint a word) character in game of thrones. I don't know his life before the bar but he been winning ever since he left that bytch.

and I try to keep it chill in the other topic but some nikkas aren't even really "watching" the show....
it was like in Boardwalk Empire in season 3....we all knew Owen was gonna die at some point...the set up was too perfect...and nikkas had all kinda dumbass theories about it...
Now that you mention Boardwalk Empire and how these nikkas ain't paying attention I get the feeling we're going to get backlash similar to the reactions for Jimmy's death. I remember peeps in SOHH swearing off the show just because he died.

With that there was so much foreshadowing of his death and the show damn near every week talks about how Robb loses the war how can they not see it coming.
