I just finished Malazan series a couple months back...it was def a great series the best books Id put up with any of GoT's best. It did start to trail off the last few books tho. Book 2-7 are amazing but the last 3 fall off considerably. Also needs a 2nd read to fully grasp the story. Some of the depth he goes into is . Had to go on the net a couple times to fully get a handle on what was happening

I need to finish this series. I am bogged down with Midnight Tides right now.

Yeah, midnight tides is slow but that shyt is pivotal to what is going to happen, ultimate setup book and you do get Tehol da gawd. wait till you get the bonehunters

word. when I re read it tho, thats when it blew me away, that shyt is too epic in scope. I mean the Kchain Chemalle storyline was heartbreaking and the Jaghut are bosses. The last couple books are dark, Eriksson is really on some pondering what the meaning of existence for type of shyt, but it so well written. I remember when I was reading the Snake with badelle them and I was just like this is some goat fukking writing.

lol nah but those books do sound tough. im on my last re-read of ice and fire but i was gonna do zombie novels after. i heard about someshyt called day by day armageddon which is supposed to be really good. i actually was gonna order it on my kindle app but i cant read more than one story at a time without getting confused so i decided to finish this first.

im up to the part arya stashes away needle to start training as an assassin

I agree, I don't think people that only watch the show would recognize the significance of what he did, or even know who Balon is. I think they played too much into the Melisandre/Davos angle.


But how are they going to make a full season out of post-RW Storm of Swords?

Is season 4 gonna be ?
