On the one hand I like that they take their time developing story arcs and characters on this show but I'm mad worried that this shyt will get cancelled before they can resolve anything. At any given point they have 20 characters and 50 different things going, some of which drop out of focus for 2-3 eps.
I don't mean next season, or even the season after. It's ratings are going up and it's already been OKed for a season 4. I just mean, in general. Very few shows know they're gonna end far in advance and this show in particular would run into a lot of problems if it was only given 1 season to wrap things up.
Fred.
thats the only thing i would say...they need Quaite or Barristan to break down to Dany the whole story of her brother and Lyanna, maybe even have a flash back of Ned talking about what happened at the Tower of Joy.
Wouldn't Howland Reed know what happened at the Tower of Joy?
Eddard Stark and Howland Reed were the only survivors. In the Tower Lyanna was dying and claimed a promise from Eddard just before she died. Afterwards, Eddard pulled stones from the tower to make cairns for the dead. He brought Dawn to the Dayne castle at Starfall. His sister's body he took back North him so she could be buried with her brother Brandon and her father Rickard.[1] With Ned's execution, Lord Reed is now the only survivor of the skirmish, and the only witness of Eddard's promise to Lyanna.
