Anyone know if the Red Viper vs Clegane fight is gonna be this season or the next one. One of the best battles I've ever read. NVM just realized they won't kill Joffrey till next season.
I did some wikipedia on the books and realized that Feast for Crows and a Dance with Dragons are two books that run alongside each other kind of or at least that was his intent at the start. They weren't supposed to be like Storm of Swords just setting up The Winds of Winter. I'm probably gonna go back and re read Feast for Crows with a different mentality

I don't think Rickon is doing much of anything. He was pretty much a wildling when he left in the book so he prob just chilling killing people with shaggydog. I only see Rickon used as a pawn and declared the lord of winterfell. you might have the same affect by having him stay with Bran and then have Bran send him away when has to.

the reason i dont agree is strictly because arya, jon, cat, and bran all have super natural shyt going on at the moment, the only ones that dont are robb, sansa, and ned, the three that were trying to play the game of thrones
rickon is a warg,probably has tasted flesh through shaggydog(just like bran) and now he's on an island full of cannibals, i could easily see him perma-warging into some kind of man eating beast or something of the sort.
and him being with bran would disrupt the davos plot because his last orders were to retrieve rickon from the island, if he's with bran then davos would be told to go outisde the wall to get him.....were bran is, with the goon ColdHands posted outside......
I think Rob actually did have a warglike connection with Grey Wind. Didn't a bunch of people say it was almost unreal how he and his wolf were connected? Or how he found that hidden path with the help of Grey Wind to set up that ambush? It's been a while since I read GOT and COK, so I could be off. We never got a POV from Rob, so it could never be fully revealed, but I got the sense that GRRM was hinting at some supernatural link with his wolf.

after all the time and effort for book readers to have put into this series and all the waiting, for some TV writers to come and finish it with some 1 hour episodes 10 times a year. Shortening the story tremendously for TV time.
im scared now.
I remember reading something where the TV dudes said that GRRM has outlined the basics of what happens to everyone in the GoT universe so they know how all of this ends already.
Plus GRRM has a longtime writing collaborator, Daniel Abraham (he writes the GoT comics), who would probably be given the gig of finishing these books if GRRM kicked the bucket.
