im not gonna lie, ive fast forwarded every Cat Stark scene this season. i saw the John Snow story, which for some reason was really terrible to me, despite people calling it powerful. Why must all wives on TV drama be awful?
i disagree about season 3 being crap, but i definitely agree about how boring feast for crows can be. i just now got to it and i am thinking about skipping it and jumping to a dance of dragons. it is a tedious read.
you should try reading them both at the same time. that's what i'm doing.
ALL LEATHER MUST BE BOILED: A new reader
yea but maybe he isnt azhor azhai at all maybe he is the new night's king. maybe he gets turned into a white walker and becomes their king. idk im just speculating but i have read that theory before about stannis becoming the new night's king which was a nights watch commander that married a white walker.
EDIT: talking about stannis in case that isnt clear
yeah i read that detailed theory a few days ago and it makes a lot of sense.
i'll be impressed if grrm can pull it off.
I will be pissed if they don't show that.as sad as that shyt is, i really hope they show robb's body with the wolf's head sown on. that would have such a huge impact on show viewers.
i gotta say it. i love this show, but season 3 has been crap so far. i read the book so i know what's to come, but seeing most of this hasn't pulled me in yet.
also, i stopped reading Feast for Crows after ~250 pages bc it was boring as fukk... anyway, i don't remember a god damn thing about Ramsay Snow, and it always makes me wonder how everyone else does. Was i just sleepwalking through the chapters he appeared in?
I will be pissed if they don't show that.
Am I the only one that thinks they need to work on building the love for Robb over the course of these next few eps? If the RW was to air this Sunday I don't think it would cause as much of an outrage as Ned's did the 1st season because it doesn't seem like people really care for Robb like that.
Is there anything you DO like? I've had no problem with any of the 3 eps other than not showing the battle at the Fist of the 1st Men
i wanted to see them white walkers so dissapointed when all i heard was just swords noises, i was looking forward to that scene since season 2 ended.
you didn't see it in the books either...Sam is the night watch's POV now that jon is with the free folk and he wasn't at the battle thus...you didn't see it because he didn't.
That's what me and amaury136 were talking about last page. They dropping the ball so far with that one. They gotta pick it up before the RW or else it's not gonna have the desired effect.Am I the only one that thinks they need to work on building the love for Robb over the course of these next few eps? True but remember the prologue all I wanted was the three horns sounding at the camp and every crow going we could have figured out the rest.
I'm not complaining because this show is awesome, but you do feel like a lot is being rushed I mean that's a scene that would have resonated with the TV watching audience. They haven't seen the Others get it in since season 1 episode 1

Ummm....we did see it in the book and he was there.* Like it was mentioned above, we never got to see it either. *Just the aftermath and Sam fighting for his life. *
Sam stood well back behind the others, looking for Grenn or Dolorous Edd. If I have to die, let me die beside my friends, he remembered thinking. But all the men around him were strangers, Shadow Tower men under the command of the ranger named Blane.
“Here they come,” he heard a brother say.
“Notch,” said Blane, and twenty black arrows were pulled from as many quivers, and notched to as many bowstrings.
“Gods be good, there’s hundreds,”
Ummm....we did see it in the book and he was there.

Not to mention we didn't see Robb meeting and falling for that dizzy Westerling broad, but they put it in the show. Outside of budget, no reason to not show the Fist of the First Men battle.
See that's one of the changes I don't get. Like the Asha/Yara thing. Why not have Jeyne Westerling, how would that have been any different budget wise ?
I'd be interested to hear what explanations the writers have for some of those tweaks. Cause Jeyne hardly says anything in the book, so it makes no sense to me how they're making up characters (useless ones in the grand scheme of things), like her (whetever her name is) or Ros, and those made up characters are taking more air time than some real characters that we'd love to see more of
It's only a ten-episode season, so every scene counts, so fukk Robb's bytch and give us more Roose/Ramsey Bolton
