All Star
It's crazy, haven't even thought about the series since it ended... Was obsessed with it a few years ago, but with the books never coming out and how the show ended my interest dropped to 0.
To be fair, D&D took a hatchet to books 4 and 5. They cut a bunch of plots and characters that in hindsight are pretty crucial to telling a good story. Had they adapted the actual source material instead of cutting, remixing, and in some cases inventing wholly original plots (Jaime to Dorne) the story would have stayed on Martin's track and given Martin more time to get Winds out. GRRM said constantly that they could have done more seasons based on the source material and he is right. It's not unbelievable. They didn't have any more source material from Martin.
Addendum: I couldn't have said it any better than @Majestyx said.
The first 4 seasonsSaddest shyt ever. Went from best show in the world with one of the most iconic female characters ever to irrelevant in a single season.
It's still unbelievable how David Benioff and D.B Weiss fukked up the show. Not only did they ruin one of the potential GOAT shows, they pretty much killed off all the enthusiasm for future spin-offs. And I'm assuming most of the residual money (box sets, merchandise, etc.) that could've been banked for years has been ruined because nobody wants to be reminded of what the show became.
Worst of all is that these idiots rushed GoT so they could work on Star Wars, only to drop out of Star Wars projects after completely fukking up GoT
Thankfully they also nixed their 'Confederacy Won the War' show, imagine the shytshow that would've been
And after all their talk about how busy they are, all they have done after GoT is Gemini Man screenplay and a Leslie Jones comedy special![]()
name a show with a bigger pump fake?
I've never seen a fall from grace like game of thrones
all these clues, buildup, and foreshadowing for nothing
none of that shyt mattered in the end
if you told me game of thrones would be the trash we saw that last season after the first four seasons I would have laughed in your face

Lost did it every season. Arguably, every episode.
