Amazing. HBO should've started from the beginning with Aegon's Conquest and then move to the House of Dragon. That's atleast 10 seasons easy for the book. They need better front runners. Cause GRRM really made a billion dollar franchise.

I disagree with that. Aegon's Conquest is a lot more straight forward, with less drama. It's a good story and COULD make for a good television show but the Dance is the better show idea. Dragon v dragon is more interesting than the one sided nature of Aegon's victories (3 dragons vs 0 dragons). And there were more characters to play around with and create memorable moments with. Plus this is the the prequel Martin wanted to do first. Remember, HBO initially said no thanks to this and created their own prequel show that they ultimately scrapped (Naomi Watts led story about the Age Of Heroes).

I think HBO is making a mistake with Dunk & Egg btw. Great story and could make for really good television but I think the blueprint for success is dragons. There are no dragons in that story, it's gonna be a lot of talking and traveling with some duels and drama mixed in. By the time it comes out I think the audience will be too trained to expect dragons/fukkery to care about it.
