There's FIRE and then there's DRAGONFIRE. Harenhall burnt the way it did because of DRAGONFIRE. King harren told aegon the conqueror "fire cannot melt stone" but that dragonfire proved otherwise when aegon came thru with balerion

Daenarys didn't burn In the first book/season 1 because she was surrounded by regular fire. Which is also why she Sat In scalding hot water in the first book/first season with no problem

Also remember how strong wildfire is, which is a substance that was created from dragonfire by the Targaryens



Gendry ask "what kind of fire Melts stone? Arya says "dragonfire"...20 seconds in. Same Line is repeated in the books..

Drogon can still burn and kill Dany, but regular fire ain't doing shyt. But that only applies to a few targaryens, the same way only a few are greenseers

Yea, I remember all this. TV Dany is also immune to dragonfire given how she escaped the house of the undying. (Re watching, the flames don’t actually go through her, they go next to her, so maybe not)

I think Viserys just doesn't care at this point and is just trying to keep the peace. He knows his daughter, said as much when he was told she was sneaking off to brothels, and he has already went all in on supporting her. He doesn't care if the rumors are true, only perception matters, and he's trying to gaslight everyone into accepting it since his word is law.

Tywin actually physically recoils from the idea of his kids fukking each other, and won't allow himself to entertain or fathom it because of his pride.

That makes sense. I immediately thought about Tywin because both of them were just so oblivious at first to what their kids were doing but I do agree that Viserys knows it’s true and doesn’t GAF.

I thought about that as well. I'm assuming it's because he was already going 100mph (probably) on his dragon so they blew right through it
