I received a spoiler warning for that post, which was a surprise to me. I hadn't received a warning since joining this site and have been posting in this thread every episode without issue. Now I'm a lame clown who should be banned? You've dapped countless comments of mine from this thread and from tonight's episode alone.
With regard to that post you mentioned, I was asking who the character was and then putting two and two together after seeing the preview for the next episode. That character was shown dancing with Rhaenyra. The camera zoomed in on his face multiple times. You could not miss him, especially with the hair and beard, and then with him carrying Rhaenyra away from the ruckus.
Then, we got the preview for episode 6, which I watched. Yet again, this same actor was featured prominently with another shot of his face. It was the same dude with the same same hair and beard. He was very clearly mentioned with a voiceover pertaining to a father and son, when we see him. In the foreground of that shot, someone was rocking a baby, which we also saw in another shot. We also knew, at that time, that it was Rhaenya who was pregnant.
Knowing what Cole did, it made sense to me that he was no longer in Rhaenyra's good graces. It was also clear from the preview, if you were watching it, that this character that I was asking about, was intimately involved with the birth of the newborn. Add that to the fact that we got the line about having three b*stards from Alicent and we saw Rhaenyra's children, with brown hair and looking nothing like Laenor. Shades of Bobby Baratheon's "children" with Cersei not having his hair.
So, I was like, "who is this guy?" He featured very prominently at the end of episode 5 where he was dancing with Rhaenyra, punching dudes, and saving Rhaenyra. Then he featured prominently in the preview for episode 6 where he was involved with her children. I then went to IMDb and proceeded to look at the credits for episode 5. I saw an actor who looked just like the actor / character in question. He was listed in the credits as "Ser Harwin 'Breakbones' Strong," which is why, when I asked if that was indeed the guy, I used the way he was credited on IMDb. The speculation on my part of him taking Cole's role and pumping b*stards in Rhaenyra was me drawing conclusions from what I had seen and making a prediction, that, when laid out like I have, is more than reasonable and not a spoiler.
I'm not a Song of Ice and Fire reader or Fire and Blood or whatever else Martin has written. I have only ever watched Game of Thrones. I don't watch spoiler videos. I don't read spoiler articles. I don't really engage in post episode talk between episodes. That's apparent with my post history in this thread. And, as you pointed out, the post you mentioned came on Sunday after the episode.
I'm not out here spoiling shyt. I'm watching the episodes and engaging in the live threads with comments that the vast majority of forum, including you and the poster who reported that comment, agree is good posting. I mean, you can check my post history on other shows like Stranger Things, The Boys, Harley Quinn, etc. Whenever I would write my thoughts on an episode, I would always use the spoiler blurring feature when / if necessary. I was definitely one of the first posters to use that feature because I remember at least one poster how to use it. All the evidence shows that if I was gonna spoil something, I would use the spoiler mask feature or whatever the fukk it's called. Or is post in the spoiler thread. There was no reason for me to do that because, again, the dude was in the credits.
Please, find instances of me spoiling any shows or movies in my comments. You can't. You can deem this post in question to be a spoiler because you don't want to believe that I could catch this but I did. My short time here has been without issue. I've seen a bunch of comments about new 2022 posters being trash. I'd venture to guess that I'm not one of them, not some cac clown like some other dude said.
I gave y'all Brehlaryon.
Brehlaryon.
And got no rep for it. Now we got this dude (not you) talking bout I should be negged to Bolivia. To quote Brehlaryon, "this is an absurdity."
Let me watch the show, enjoy it and get my jokes off. I don't wanna have to set fire to the Sept.
