I like how they show what a healthy relationship with dragons looks like as opposed to the unhealthy relationship that Dany had, calling them her children and all that jazz.

That plus the fact that dragons are supposed to get training. And there's many more commands that you can give them besides dracarys.

Speaking of, they show that the dragons know these commands because of their training. How did Danys dragons know that dracarys meant to spit fire?

Dany was cut off from her heritage. All she knew was what Viserys told her and he himself was only 8 when Robert killed Rhaegar. So he didn’t know much. It makes Dany’s journey that much sadder. A Targaryen alone in the world is a terrible thing

To be fair, the writers spoiled that shyt like crazy in the preview. That’s what’s so funny about the spoiler argument in this thread… the writers have no intention to be subtle about these things with the previews. Like they weren’t even trying with the episode 6 preview. Because of the time jump they really wanted to hammer home whose kids they were. And I think they were worried about people jumping ship because of the change in actors.

I have never seen HBO put out as much content before an episode like they did with episode 6. Beyond the preview they also showed the scene where Rhaenyra was walking to Alicent after the kid was born. I was on YouTube like “did this shyt leak already?!?” but nope, HBO was just pumping out vids as promo
