Idk about the rest of the post but I def think he intended for them to be seen together in the brothel, which is why he snatched her disguise off as soon as they got there. He saw she still wasn’t married and had no intention of marrying anybody so he wanted to ruin her reputation so Viserys would give her to him to marry.

And this is why I say people have to give their daughters game! She was carrying on like she was on top of the world and couldn’t get played, and she got played by her own uncle and then played herself by sleeping with her guard.
Otto’s daughter may be miserable, but she’s a miserable QUEEN whose position and security have been solidified. Her dad put her on and now she’s good. If the king dies (*coughs* is murdered) before Rhaenyra weds, her ass is toast. Should’ve told her how serious life was before it got to this point and she wouldn’t have let her uncle put her in that position.
Sometimes that “cool” relative doesn’t have as much respect for your honor and family name. That’s why you must have your own understanding of the world and how it works.
Beyond that, she can still get any man because her father is the king. If she were anyone else, her life would actually be over.
She actually has a connection with the guard, though. In a perfect world that’s who she’d be with.

Yep yep yep! This is why girls need their mothers. Her mother would’ve taught her how to navigate these waters, although she should’ve learned something by this point anyway.They keep telling Rhaenyra that this is the time for her to be making alliances and gaining support. Instead she's pissing people off. Remember last episode where she just had to get that dig in at Lady Redwyne when all of the women of the court were sitting around talking about war? While Alicent was in the cut with those same women making nice with them. Those wives whisper to their lord husbands and influence them. Rhaenyra isn't seeing this.
Then this episode she shytted on a bunch of proud lords on her suitor tour, interrupting and mocking one while he was giving his speech, then shutting the whole thing down and ending it two months early.
She should’ve peeped game when her FRIEND became her stepmom/QUEEN with one move -marriage to her father.
Everyone is moving strategically except her. Her stubbornness will make her a pawn for others (like her uncle).
I love these shows because they strip things down to the basics and remind you that life is a game of musical chairs. She’s about to be the last one standing.
