Nah Dipset (mainly Jim Jones) came out 2001 on that Blood tip. This was way before Game. Actually, Certified Gangstas video with Jim was Game's first music video rapping.
Peep what Jim's wearing in this. He stayed flamed up and red flagging.
Dipset is what kicked off the whole rap game turning from Crips to Bloods.

Now you're moving goal posts. First it was Lauryn and Erik Sermons, now its Bone and Freestyle Fellowship, which isn't the same thing. I get it, you don't like Missy and are not going to give her any credit whatsoever and probably haven't heard any of the album to even make a sound judgement.
It also indirectly influenced Nas's Stillmatic . They even dissed some of the dame artists. The overall tone was dark. There's the social commentary and the creativity on some songs.
I never realized that.
But I see what you're saying.
I still don't think that qualifies as a game changer though, since X abandoned that sound for the second album.
