I don't know and I don't care How is this relevant? Now explain to me how this is an issue that needs to be discussed and why time and money needs to spend on preventing trans people from playing sports in teams that don't match their gender assigned at birth? Where are the numbers, how often does this happen? How many trans people are there, how many of them are playing sports in a professional or semi-professional capacity? How does this affect the wellbeing of the average citizen? Why?
You asked a bunch of questions about my proximity to trans people as if it matters. They're losing on this issue and your response is to ask more questions.
Let me ask you one: Where is the proof of a biological underpinning of a disorder or condition that makes someone trans.
You know why these polls changed the way they did? Because reactionaries decided to make it an issue and pretended that it was a problem. They then started constantly speaking about it and conservative media outlets gave them a platform. Then centrist outlets, being the idiots that they are, picked it up and said, conservatives are speaking about it, so it must be an issue, we should have an open minded debate about this and hear their opinions. Now people who couldn't care less about this shyt two years ago got the impression that it is a real problem, but they neither have the time nor the interest to look into it, so when a pollster comes along and asks them what they think about transgender playing sports they say "I don't know, it seems to be a problem so maybe they shouldn't do it". Then the same fukking media that gave the issue salience and created the impression that this is a real peoblem prints these numbers and says "people think it's a problem", without reflecting or mentioning their own role in this retarded debate.
