Brolic... Alcoholics
Same thing if I go around waving stacks of money and get robbed, I bet you lames would victim blame a nikka then saying,"you shouldn't have been stunting bragging."

Double edged sword. You have a right to stunt and no one has the right to rob you but if a shiesty ass nikka is lurking and it happens...

Yeah it was fukked up but you shouldn't have been cappin'. :yeshrug:

Everywhere...You never there.
"She's hot, therefore I'll co-sign whatever dumb shyt she says."

Follow the thought through though. There's a difference between parents teaching their kids to take precautions, and you seeing some innocent dude get shot by the police and tweeting him with, "Maybe you shouldn't have had that hoodie on with your pants hanging low and you wouldn't have gotten shot."

I hear you. I've acknowledged that the timing and that message as a reply to Aly in that context was wrong. .. and also Gabby using the word "responsibility" is wrong.

Yea us brothers need to stop wearing Jordan's

We need to wear suit and ties everyday
Suit and ties everywhere we go
We can't operate a motorized vehicle
We can't interact with white women
We can't go out in public after dark

We gotta take these precautions, breh. We don't wanna entice the wrong crowd. We can't put ourselves in harm's way with stupid acts. Anything that can be perceived as "asking for it", we must do our best to avoid it.

I agree, getting raped must be terrible but the victims get to walk away with their lives, sometimes, but Black men are getting killed out here and if we can limit some of it by making better clothing choices and choices in who we interact with or whether or not we should operate motor vehicles, then we should explore those options.

Proof that the USA team didn’t fukk with Gabby like that and she don’t fukk with them

This really petty tho

“I was raped:mjcry::damn: and it’s not my fault we need to stop victim blaming”

“Stop dressing slutty”:umad:-Gaby

Gabby isn't here for these women and I bet there's a reason...She'll be vindicated but these days especially white women are innocent no matter what they do....

@Matt504 @Gil Scott-Heroin

Y'all some damn clowns. :mjlol:

But seriously, do y'all think it's wrong to have a nuanced, precautionary discussion with a pre-teen son/daughter about how a segment of society (including those in authority positions) will likely perceive/interpret certain glaring behavior and glaring styles of dress in certain environments could likely bring unwanted attention?

Or should parents just avoid those discussions altogether?

I wonder if Gabby is referring to Aly's naked photoshoot. ...

What her doctor did was messed up though and shouldn't have happened.

No one ever refers to Gabby Douglas as an Olympic hero, or mentions how many gold medals she has. Instead of being revered as one of the all time great female athletes, she’s been shyt on every step of the way and has gotten a fraction of the acclaim that Biles, Aly, or Ledecky. She’s probably extremely bitter.

My sister is 21 soon and she knows that she’s her own primary protector. I’m not gonna be around her 24/7 or just about at all, and our father really won’t, so it’s on her to exercise best judgment and protect herself. I can’t possibly give speeches to all ‘potential rapists’ to stop them, and it’s stupid to allude to doing so. Like men tell each other when they rape women. I assume Gabby comment was along those lines in terms of practicing discretion & protecting yourself.

the keyword here is nuanced and during the course of that conversation, it should be made clear to her that although dressing more conservatively may* reduce the likelihood of her being raped, if a rapist wants to rape her, it won't matter what she's wearing.

**there's no real way to measure whether or not you would have been raped in a given day had you been dressed more provocatively.
