Good watch. I forgot all about this fiasco but I remember reading all about it. Dumb asses tried to throw a festival in what 3 months. No bookings, no food, no amenities. fukkin tents. Dude lucky he made out of there alive. Goes to show how easy to fool the masses through social media.

This documentary is really such an accurate depiction of society. You had people that were so happy to part with money for the idea of living a lifestyle without seeing any proof and you had people that were so desperate to make money that they literally sold wolf tickets.

Old boy that was prepared to suck dikk in order to salvage their drainage system :scust:

Also, I think these Instagram “influencers” are some of the worst people on the planet.
I got advertising school. A lot of the programs are moving more heavily towards digital marketing and a lot of it is dependent on these "influencers." I had to do a lot of research on that shyt and I was left really appalled by the whole thing...a bunch of soulless people whose whole social media presence is at the behest of brands. They might as well be bots.

And the sad thing is, because of the lifestyle they present and command they have, you got a whole generation of kids who aspire to be them. It's really disheartening.

So I watched the Hulu documentary today after the watching the Netflix one on the weekend

Am I the only one a bit confused about how they got key people in both documentaries that aren't even mentioned in the other ?

Like dikk sucking Andy or the older Milf aren't even mentioned in the Hulu one but this Grant guy who seems like a key person and probably enabled Billy further to go with the fukkery I dont think he was mentioned at all in the netflix unless I've completely forgotten. Theres like 2 entire separate teams of people on Jerry and Fyre that were mentioned that aren't acknowledged

And Im hearing that like the people that produced both docs were kinda involved in the festival anyway

I don’t understand why people are so easily led though. All these influencers do is take pictures and look fashionable. There’s not much else to it because most of the time, they don’t offer anything else other than looking the part.

Ja rule sounded the corniest mothafukka at the end

"We gotta stick together y'all"

:mjlol:

man, you know its a problem when in 2017, you're turning to ja rule to give the speech to pump up your company which is basically on the verge of going out of business. I was crying :laff:

LMAO @ all the CaCs caught up in this :mjlol:

Real talk tho, this doc made me feel bad for all those Bahamians affected by this. Basically had them cats slaving. The shop owner came out of her own savings to make her people right, meanwhile this fakkit Billy living in an NYC penthouse not giving a single fukk about all the people he stiffed. :pacspit:

How y'all feel about the Bahamian cat they interviewed tho? One minute he's telling you about all his folks who got screwed, then the doc ends with his jovial phone call with Billy all friendly and shyt. Felt reeeaaallll c00nish to me. :patrice:

So this festival's attendees was a bunch of fags and their faq hags? :swaggyP:

Doesn't it seemed like almost all the major players were fags? :slaterconfused:

I am curious as to how they made their money?

Who was that one older lady who was financing him?

What about that major faq guy who kept calling him "a kid"?

Was really that big of a crisis though?

The fukken ritz carlton or some major resort was right down the street right? They were not a private island.

I only feel bad for the Bahamian workers who didn't get paid. :hubie:

Speaking of that

so the breh is talking shyt about that McFarlan guy saying how he didn't get paid etc, but then gets a phone call from him and he is all buddy buddy talking about "what good things should I say?" etc" WTF?
