I had to clown nikkas back. Public school was a big part of a reason why I can be a saracastic a$$hole at times

Calmed down by senior year in high school though. And in college, nobody tripped because we were all grown at that point

Roasting and jonesing on one another’s clothes was HUGE uo north where i lived and when i moved to Stone Mountain first year of high school i was surprised it wasn’t nearly as prevalent.

Don’t get me wrong, you couldn’t just be a dusty nikka but there wasn’t so much emphasis placed on clothing. It was mostly if your hygeine game was on point (360 waves, fresh tapers, etc)

Yea even thought this took place in the 90s.... 90% of the time we would fight or be the kid everyone clowned for the rest of the year. This suicide shyt is a new thing cuz of the internet. After you got home, there bullying was over.

The young girl got psychological issues and its "is today a good day or a bad day?"
12th graders torturing the 10/9 graders.......

Middle School-High school really is a trial by fire for black kids.

Reminds me of that dave chappelle joke about the brittleness of white people’s feelings. They DO NOT go through a tenth of the psychological warfare that black CHILDREN do just trying to carve out an identity amongst one another let alone the wider world.

You gotta decide from a young age are you going to be passive or fight back?

Are you going to join in the roasting and verbal abuse of others or are you going to be on the revieving end of it?

Are you going to have the mental fortitude to brush it all off as just jokes (80% of it i’d wager is mostly just jokes) or are you going to take it to heart?

Will you be one of the TRULY unlucky ones who are deemed “disruptive” “unruly” who “can’t focus” and are subjected to mind numbing medication?

Will you be a tough guy, a nerd who does others book reports, a fast young girl who gives it up, a gangster, a jokester, etc.

My sister had a 7th grade student who committed suicide a few years ago.

Hell in 7th grade we had a classmate get shot for his starter jacket..... In 8th grade a kid at my school commited suicide with his dads shotgun.


shyt, one of my best friends at the time was about to shyt his pants cuz the crack he had in his back pocket got crushed and he didn't know how he was gonna recoup.

If I wasn't good at sports back then IDK how I wouldn't have made it cause I was a capital N-E-R-D nerd

Luckily I played on all the teams in middle school and even in HS when I was too lazy to play for the school (fukk practice) I still had respect from everybody that did.
