1). Donald doesn’t talk about black women not liking him in “every other one” of his songs. Hes addressed it twice. Once in his EP and once on Camp. Most of his “females only like me now cause I’m rich” lyrics don’t specify race.

2). She has a point about the absurdity of a black woman stalking an IR couple and acting a fool. I feel her on that, and I didn’t like the way the exchange was PRESENTED as a stereotypical “angry black woman” rant. She’s right on that

3). The poster in question seems to think that the show only paints black men’s struggles in a positive light. This is wrong, and anyone whose been watching the show for more than five minutes will be able to tell you this. Van has been presented in a positive light, mostly off the strength of her actually dealing with Earn’s shyt and BEING the type of woman who is willing to support a black man chasing his dreams. But she CANNOT be presented as infallible. She’s got to have cons as well. Some of her cons, as presently shown, are racial confusion (identifying as black while celebrating and participating in a racist German traditional festival) lack of focus (forgetting that she had a drug test and putting her job in jeopardy) and naïveté (going to an abandoned room with a stranger in a house you JUST got to)

This isn’t a show that shyts on Black women, which is why last night’s episode with the exchange between the black and white woman sticks out so sorely. EVERYBODY gets shytted on. Earn is no better than Van, whose no better than Alfred, and so on. Everybody has shyt they need to work on.

I don't even think it's a broke versus not broke thing. Cause plenty of females waste time with the broke exciting guys. Most dudes that are heavy into drama/acting are looked at as either corny or gay and ain't getting checked for like that. But once he blows up and has that clout then now he's a sex symbol.
This. I've experienced it first hand. It still happens and I'm 30 :mjlol:

Earlier this year I was doing a show and this chick (who was dating another brother on the show) was lowkey dissing me because I caught the bus there. I did my thing and she was like :leon: "you're not bad!". Then she saw how much I got paid for 30 minutes of work and made that "hey...buy me a drink?" face.I curved it. Then my GF showed up for a few post show cocktails and the black lady was somehow pissed off. Like, you treated me like trash, came with another dude, had your whole eyeball on my wallet, and still visibly mad that a cave bish somehow stole me from you? That low self esteem is something else, playa.

The honest truth is this is straight projection, though. A lot of black women are under enormous pressure, to say the least, and some don't know what else to do besides blame black dudes. Which is normal at this point. The same way black women are ignored/devalued, black men are scapegoats (if not target practice).
