The episode wasn’t good breh. Not every one is going to be amazing.
Yea it kills me when dudes try to justify a weak episode. Trying to tell us we didn't "get it".....the message here was plain as fukin day. People are fake, society is fake, blah blah blah. There was nothing to decipher here. They made their message obvious from the jump. The bottomline is that this wasn't very good television. And when I'm watching TV, that's what I want. It doesn't make you any more of a fan to blindly dikk ride every single weak episode.

But the Atlanta staff got it made. They could drop damn near anything and fans will make it genius. This episode could have literally been van sleeping on drakes bed for 30 minutes and dudes would be like "This represents how most people get comfortable and sleepwalk through life instead of chasing their dreams....van got robbed of her ambition....brilliant!":gladbron:......just stop:comeon: Entertainment is entertainment. We've had better discussions on this site about the fakeness of today's society and the possibility that this is all a computer simulation. There was nothing close to genius about this episode whatsoever.

Women just want a man to make them happy.
That it.
Once you fail to do that, game over.
shyt aint no in depth psychological bullshyt.
Thats why me and my baby stay good.
We make each other happy.
Life is a big ass trial and error.
You just keep pushing until you find your match.
What the hell does that have to do with my post? We know women (and men to for that matter) stay making bad decisions when it comes to dating. Often putting priority on the more exciting option instead of the option that's better for us in the long run. Nerdy/uncool black men and women have complained forever about not getting checked for when younger or spending time learning and studying. In some of those cases they get play from other races. Then once they reach success and are a finished product now the same people that dismissed them see them as desirable.

The main problem I had with the white girl in the episode was the fact that she had been with him while he was broke. Yes that may be true in some cases but a lot of times nikkas be fukking the white girl groupies and placing them on a pedestal as if they are better than the black women. I get the underlying message goes with the theme of the episode of how you can't judge the situation from the outside looking in but that was pretty weak.

This episode was written by sum guy named Ibra Ake who i have no knowledge of so uugghhh whatever. But Donald didn't write it so anyone thinking the whole white girl interaction was cuz of him is wrong

Anyway next week should be much better tho cuz Stefani Robinson is writing it

The writer just writes the dialouge in concise way. Donald as EP tells the writer what to say and determines the overall arc of the season, this is HIS episode.

Sound like she got a blessing coming or something to me. I don't take that as a threat.

Or getting a train ran on her by drakes barber , photographer , and bodyguard lol

the wenches on LSA are TRIGGERED by this episode
This is why I stopped listening to his music. Every other song of his talked about how black girls never gave him the time of day, and now because he was known they flock to him. I knew then that he has had some animosity against black women but I gave him the benefit of the doubt with this show.

This episode disgusted me with that scene between the black and white woman. Ain’t no way in hell would a black woman stalk a damn interracial relationship and then make a scene by confronting the white woman, especially at a damn nye party( and it’s Drakes party!) Now, we may say some slick comments and keep it moving but that’s it.

What’s completely ironic is I’ve had the same thing happen to me but with black men when I dated a white man. They were ruuudddeee, following us around, yelling obscene things about my body and telling me to leave that cracker for a real man. The only thing I heard from black women were “okay girl I see you, i didn’t know you were down with the swirl” or some jokes but they would leave it there. BW were never disrespectful to my relationship and if they were they’d just roll there eyes or side eye me.

I thought that this show was about black people’s struggles not just black men. It’s like we keep getting this message of “uplift the black man, see what he goes through?” But the only thing I’ve been able to gather about the black woman narrative is she’s bytchy, rude, and not to be trusted.

Some women leave their friends all the time to clout chase, that’s not just black women.
Some women don’t know about basic sex Ed (regarding the condom and iud talk) not just black women.
Some woman are instagram thots and their thirsty, not just black women.
Some women go to parties just to show their exes they’re fine, not just black women.
Some women don’t like interracial relationships in every culture and race, not just black women.
Some women will get played by these pipe dreams of meeting a celebrity, not just black women.
Some women will be stuck walking home with nothing, lied to, and robbed of everything that they had before, not just black women.

Also, I’m not sure if this was on purpose but I actually like what the black woman in response to the white woman even if it was to paint her in a bad light. Why is it okay for every other race to say they don’t wanna deal with broke men but when a black woman says it, were called golddiggers?? Okay becky good for you, you’ve been with him through thick and thin but he can’t leave yo ass for a white woman because you already are one. Everybody knows if that woman was black, he would’ve BEEN left her.(maybe not....but let’s be real) And judging by my personal experience, white women have the money and resources to support their broke ass man while he goes and “follow his dreams” meanwhile black women have to have 3 or 4 jobs and a side hustle to do this so much that we don’t have time to even follow OUR dreams.
And they wonder why some of us are mad?
But notice how I said some. Not all. Cause I’ll be damned to break my back for a man only to get left high and dry. It’s happened once and won’t ever happen again.

fukk Donald.
