the us is still on top technology wise. we lead in R&D but the only problem is implementation. we could have trains as fast as japan and germany and highways like this if we really wanted them but no one is willing to spend the money and jump through the hoops with environmental studies, local government, etc. also some of these projects by foreign countries are highly unprofitable but their willing to go through with it cause they don't face the same scrutiny as here and it's also about national pride, boasting, etc

it is highly profitable, saves energy and decreases number of traffic accident.

They are going to begin implementing these ideas THIS year breh. Not in 2020 or 10 years from now.

How did America fall so quickly in terms of engineering dominance? Is it because all of our engineers work for the military and intelligence agencies?

Our fukking bridges are on the verge of collapsing, it's taking so god damn long to build a skyscraper in NYC, and we haven't embraced any green energy initiatives on a national scale.

because the emphasis stop being on innovation and just straight profit... sweden found a way to make money off trash by turning into energy killing 2 birds with one stone while they are still trying to push coal over here and shyt:pacspit:

construction jobs in the U.S. and Canada are always over budget and delayed. I don't even get exited for shyt because I won't see the benefit for 20 years :snoop:

Corporate greed, privatization, and unchecked capitalism has destroyed innovation in the US plain and simple.

:stopitslime:

Privatization encourages innovation, and unchecked capitalism hasn't existed in this country for many decades.

Makes me wish we didn't have all these execs trying to milk the old stuff as long as possible.

Majority of internet users still using copper and telephone line based DSL. :why:

Cars still being sold under 20mpg. :why:

:beli: Murica done lost its way since Reagan.
