IMMIGRANT TETHERS
They are going to begin implementing these ideas THIS year breh. Not in 2020 or 10 years from now.

How did America fall so quickly in terms of engineering dominance? Is it because all of our engineers work for the military and intelligence agencies?

Our fukking bridges are on the verge of collapsing, it's taking so god damn long to build a skyscraper in NYC, and we haven't embraced any green energy initiatives on a national scale.

i use to think America was ahead of the curve when it came to innovating buildings, technologies, and structures overall, but then I began to travel.

Rotterdamn:wow:

the us is still on top technology wise. we lead in R&D but the only problem is implementation. we could have trains as fast as japan and germany and highways like this if we really wanted them but no one is willing to spend the money and jump through the hoops with environmental studies, local government, etc. also some of these projects by foreign countries are highly unprofitable but their willing to go through with it cause they don't face the same scrutiny as here and it's also about national pride, boasting, etc

Way too much regulation in this country to really do anything ground breaking like this. You can thank liberals and Barack Obama for this.
