I can't be alone in thinking that outside of a couple song its a pretty muted and mundane Future performance
especially when you compare it 'I Never Liked You' and his past two years of guest verses

You're not. I'd go as far as to say he sounds bored over a lot of these beats. This project always felt forced, like something he was doing as a favor to Metro and the results aren't great.
