lol I'm so excited!
I loved the OG trilogy a lot. Grew up on that shyt. I have seen episode IV - VI each over ten times. So I understand loving that but the prequels really brought my excitement down for the new movies. And then TFA confirmed this franchise had peaked a long ass time ago.

I think it's better to focus on telling new stories with new characters than retelling the not-so-important stories of old characters. So in that aspect they're getting it right.

But they ain't getting it right by letting Rian Johnson continue to make Star Wars movies considering how terrible The Last Jedi is.

Hopefully, one of the planned trilogies is KOTR, it’s the shot of excitement the franchise needs at this point new worlds, origins of the Sith, Jedis galore and epic lightsaber battles.
