Are you saying they have? If so what are the reasons for that?
I'm saying that anybody blaming rappers/media/entertainment for using drugs rather than putting the responsibility, onus and blame on the parents who are raising them sounds really stupid.

If your kids listen to a rapper more than you, then you as a parent have failed :manny:

Its just not that simple. What separates the parents of today from the parents of the 40s? Not a damn thing. Now they have to contend with the influence celebrities and media images...

How is a 50 year old accountant supposed to compete with a bad bytch from Barbados who rocks rolies and designer brands?

How you gonna put the blame solely on a pop artist
For a damn socioeconomic epidemic?
:win:
That being said, the popularity of the use of promethazine syrup and codeine syrup, in Kool-Aid like mixtures, for a "downer" high, is almost entirely due to promotion by a specific group of hip-hop artists.

If your point is that dump people are easily influenced to make dumb decisions, you'll get no argument from me. Rachet bytches get ass implants because they see celebrities doing it and nikkas lust after that shyt. Dumb ass nikkas cop the new Yeezy's instead of paying their water bill. These are the decisions of adults. Two adults fukking with no protection and having a kid who they aren't able to properly raise is also the decision of adults. That child being influenced by rap or whatever other medium is the end result of adults making dumb fukking decisions and leaving that child without the proper guidance and tools to make the right decisions. Future is not turning a kid with the right guidance into a pill popper. The number one cause of kids doing drugs, drinking, etc? Growing up. They see adults do that shyt, they think being an adult is cool, and they want to be cool. If you think a celebrity has more influence than an older brother or an older cousin, you're crazy. Children are far more perceptive than you give them credit for. A child's first curse word is most likely going to be the product of hearing an elder say it all the time. The first time I ever tasted alcohol I was nine and I did it because I was at a wedding, all the grownups were doing it, and there happened to be a glass of champagne just sitting there and nobody noticed. It wasn't Biggie Smalls' fault
I'm not saying more influence, I'm saying some influence.

Besides plenty of folks don't have an older sibling or father to look up to.

This shyt is so obvious :heh:

Why people always gotta think in black and white? "I love rap so this shyt is entirely the fault of the parents. ":dahell:

Just think objectively for 10 minutes, and then you can get back to bumping future:heh:

When Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik 1st dropped, I was influenced by everything they rapped about(The whole DF family and affiliates too). I wanted to be them nikkas. I was 17. I watched my brother grow up during the Cash Money/No Limit era and he was heavily influenced by them. He almost lost his freedom during those times.

But did you start doing drugs because Kast rapped out it? Do you sell drugs because Kast rapped about it?

:dahell:Im saying parents haven't changed but media has. If parents have changed, then its probably due to media, because thats the defining feature of the modern world. We live in the 'information age' and you talking about "blame the parents" :deadrose:

Yeah all this entertainment shyt is just something we use to pass the time :heh:

Has no effect on our personalities and worldviews. A 15 year old can party their ass off to "Molly Percocets, Molly Percocets", get their dikk sucked for the first time , and then shrug it off like "Yeah this shyt is just entertainment. Im gonna go about my studies and prepare for my life 10 years down the road. ":dahell:

Man! I really just had started smoking green, then I fell in love with Crumblin Erb. I can't say it made me, but it had some influence on me.

I started smoking White Owls because of Hootie Hoo

Breh I don't give a fukk how good you are at parenting... You can't just tell your kids hip hop is just entertainment, when its the soundtrack to their life

What you gonna not allow them to listen to trap? In an age when they can just download that shyt from hundreds of sites?

Your argument is pure abstraction... In the real world music has meaning

You're clearly missing the point on or you're trolling at this point :mjlol:
