There were clear differences in the sound when it came to west coast/east coast 'street/gangsta rap" in the 90's tho. Like for example... Mobb Deep's music didn't sound anything like Above The Law's.

"NY Drill" sounlds EXACTLY like "Chicago Drill" music.

Back then the sounds were regional, there was no internet so all styles were unique.

But the west started that crime rap with Straight Outta Compton.

From there you saw NY drop their versions of crime rap from Mobb deep to jay z all the way up to 50 cent.

But nowadays there isn't any true regional cause of the internet, and it's more about the beats and music video execution.

Nope, Jungle beats (hot nikka) don't sound nothing like young chop.

Breh watch Computers the music video, and My Guys that I posted in the OP. To say this doesn't belong in the drill subgenre is being dishonest.

But the music is better, and these nikkas can actually spit. That's how the young boys act in Chicago, watch those videos that's how the young boys act in East Flatbush. It's the NY version of them nikkas. and it's all gangs, not about the dope, straight gun squad.
