(1) I was never a fan of Trap Music, so I can't really comment it...Trap music is just rappers talking about what Real Dope Boys are doing in the Trap...
The biggest Trap Rapper was a CO, and the other made commercials about calling 1800 Crime Stoppers...
(2) In comparison, Drill Music was developed by the people who were doing the shooting...Lil Jojo's body dropped in real time...It doesn't get realer than that...
(3) New York is safe...Relatively speaking of course...New York's style is hustling and organized crime...Drill Music is an unadulterated glorification of soulless savagery...
NYPD WILL NOT let these rascals run wild on the streets...Thus, without bodies the music doesn't have anything to stand on...It's just impressionable children following a trend that Chief Keef, Young Chop and DJ Kenn have ALREADY PERFECTED and capitalized on...
What you fail to get is that this is New Yorks version of them drill nikkas.
New York even when it was in complete anarchy, we never had the uneducated dirty mushmouth dread nikkas. Thats for the south/midwest.
But this is New Yorks version of them 300 nikkas. These kids are young and from arguably the worst hood in New York, untouched by gentrification. They dont really push work. Its all gangbangin and they are the shooters. They claim a 10 block stretch and nobody from East Flatbush/Brownsville has checked them yet.
