There are other articles on this story with the same june date, so this has been there since then. Just google the title of the article

So if thats the case, then WWE has always "controlled" the channel and they didn't take it off Woods like they jacked Ryder. Everyone can calm down about them stealing it from him then

But do we know if that article existed on WWE.com since the first video?

Unless WWE changed that article or put it up recently, it would seem WWE always had control over it. He may have needed clearance from them to do it, my guess is since Ryder's channel blew up they probably want to be in on anyone's personal channels.

But there's a difference between WWE saying "Its cool, do your Channel" and "This is our channel which we let Xavier run". That's the fukked up part

Working theory: Austin started the channel for his own personal use, but the WWE stepped in and took over like usual. A three month gap between starting the channel and posting the 1st video is odd and extremely rare for an active YouTuber. Plus, there are people outside the WWE that works on the channel and Austin has knowledge/promoted outside companies.

Honestly, this is beyond fukked up. Called them independent contractors and treat them like worthless employees.

Well, UUDD might get completely jacked, because Austin is hinting at merch based on the channel:

Xavier was looking mad stressed in a recent update vid, about apologizing for lack of updates. I imagine he fighting the stress of having the rug pulled out from under him.

Vince's petty bullshyt moves and mad cism are just as much of his legacy as all the good shyt he did :aicmon:

I KNEW it!

Here we go, folks...

:mjcry:
Watch they break these guys up for no f_cking reason.

I really don't think its that serious. This channel began posting videos under the "WWE's channel that Austin hosts" as that June article confirmed. They named him the host, and in every video he introduces himself as the host, so nothing has changed there.

If it began in June with no article and then in September that article was published, then yea that's a straight up Ryder channel-jacking.

To me, Austin and his friends run the channel and are responsible for the content. WWE may "own" the channel, but unless you see Eva Marie popping up on the show getting put over by Austin, we don't have to worry about their creative freedom being taken away.

Guys, calm the fukk down :martin:

This dude is a full time wrestler, in school for a fukking PhD, and running a Youtube channel

You don't think the stress might be from trying to balance all of these, and with their recent push their WWE workload has increased?

Plus the fact that most of the videos involve other wrestlers, who have their own schedules?

Y'all in here acting like Vince is calling him in telling him all about how he can only play on the Atari and every episode needs to have Eva Marie or Cena on it. :russ:

It's not that hard running a YouTube channel.
Gaming is Austin's stress reliever. Controller, wifi, laptop, and game capture card = an episode of UUDD
The video featuring other wrestlers are filmed during down time at whatever venue WWE is booked.
Kudos to you for having faith in Vince, despite Vince's track record.

So when your're running a channel, taking classes towards a PhD, and wrestling 4-5 nights a week, that just leaves tons of time:troll:

He made the video because they were behind schedule and he wanted people to know why. This channel is run by people doing this as a 2nd or 3rd job, so when other stuff comes up they might fall behind.

Again, what evidence do you have other than analyzing his mood in a video as to why the WWE is taking his channel?

Because the article that started all this was released the day the channel's first video launched, and it took weeks before this channel started taking off.

I don't trust Vince as far as I could throw em either, but nothing has changed other than a week where they were light on videos and Austin apologized for it.

We just know how this company operates. I don't expect anything good coming out of Vince getting his hands on anything, but you're probably right...but we shall see. I can see them botching the momentum New Day has.
