Those negative opinions you listed are from like a few years ago. For as goofy comedy as they are, they've also shown by now that they can get serious, they can go toe to toe with anyone and the ring, all 3 have become fantastic talkers, they routinely put on the funniest, most natural comedy promos that they clearly are helping to write themselves, they consistently put on great matches, they're amazing at PR, they're always coming up with new tweaks to keep it fresh, they were great heels and faces both, multiple reigns as both...just every box ticked.

I love that they take advantage of the Freebird rule whenever they want and all 3 can go. I dont know any wrestling fan that thinks Xavier cant wrestle in 2018. I'd say you'll find more people calling him underrated and a great in-ring storyteller. Big E and Kofi are each due a big singles push. Not sure how they do it while keeping the team together.

At this point they should be in any goat tag team / stable discussion.

theyre not a a stable until one of them puts in work as a single wrestler while reppin new day.

and it could be done. if the WWE knew what they were doing, they wouldn't have to break them up in order to give one of them a singles push.

and yea, the goofy comedy will always hold them back in the all-time talks.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently spoke with "Filthy" Tom Lawlor on Filthy Four Daily and revealed that WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon reportedly has plans to make some changes to the characters of The New Day. According to Alvarez, McMahon has given some thought to changing New Day in the past, but ultimately decided to leave them as they were. But now he has reportedly decided that he wants to implement some changes to their characters. As seen on this week's edition of SmackDown Live, it was hinted that New Day might not be using pancakes as props anymore. This may be one of the changes that we'll see in the coming weeks and months.

I would love for Mark Henry and/or Booker T to get into Big E's ear one day and talk to him about how they don't want him to make the same mistakes they did and go down the same path they did and never win the big one (WWE Championship), and then for Big E to go on a monster run with the title afterwards..

We saw that Big E can't really cut an effective promo as a serious heel when he was rolling with Ziggler so if he turns heel he'll need a mouthpiece, but as a face he can cut his own promos..

That was 6 years ago. He has shown a ton more personality since then and I don't think being a heel cutting promos would be a problem at all.

Every promo I've heard from him dating back to NXT has that church pastor feel to it, which is good for a comedy/mid-card act, but won't cut it in the main event.. Vince won't even let Lashley cut a promo as a heel, and even though I wasn't a big fan of Lashley's heel promos in TNA, they were much more convincing than any heel promo i've heard from Big E..

To go on a monster run, you have to be booked as a monster not a clown. Kofi is the only champ in that group.
