I imagine they gave him the choice between stopping and handing over the name - which is fukked up. It's not like a university where you do research and they own it once you leave. Xavier's personality and interests made the whole thing work. Same as Ryder.

But do we know if that article existed on WWE.com since the first video?
Unless WWE changed that article or put it up recently, it would seem WWE always had control over it. He may have needed clearance from them to do it, my guess is since Ryder's channel blew up they probably want to be in on anyone's personal channels.
But there's a difference between WWE saying "Its cool, do your Channel" and "This is our channel which we let Xavier run". That's the fukked up part
