Those against the deportation of illegal immigrants, are claiming that it's not possible if children were anchored in citizenship. That has been the ploy for the past few decades - children via birth to justify the rest of the family remaining in the country. Then it became ANY child that made it to the US deserved to stay because they had dreams to fulfill.
Ask those citizens in Chicago or Ohio about their dreams.

Revoking birthright citizenship to "deport illegals (from countries the US intentionally fukked up & advertising American job security in said fukked up countries)" sounds good to the MAGA crowd and some misguided Black people.

When (not if) they get to Black people, they wouldn't strip birthright citizenship away from Black Americans to deport them back to Africa.
Why would they?
For Black people, it would make us stateless. Not citizens of America, yet too far removed from Africa to even be sent back.
And with all these Trump-appointed judges and a SCOTUS with his judges, they'll start stripping & overturning ANY ruling that helps Black people.

I believe the issue here is the President of the United States violating the constitution to "deport" naturalized citizens. And if anyone care, its specifically violates the 14th amendment....the one that gave my people official legal citizenship status in the United States. I don't think I need to explain why having a white supremacist president, playing loosely goosely, with the Law that legitimized my people in this country, is problematic.
