It’s one game. He shined at Wazzou St the first four games too then it came crashing down last season. Could be different this yr, who knows. Mario will still find a way in one of the games this season.

This. Making the playoffs and getting smoked by Michigan wasn't going to have any impact on this season. It would have helped with recruiting and $$$ in following years, and likely kept Norvell around for longer, but at the end of the day they'd still be trotting out DJ this fall and being bad. They needed to make some drastic moves with transfers and didn't.
