You're cool with your coach publically pursuing other coaching jobs? :dahell: I like Bud too but if he wants out then he can go.

How are you going to build a roster and winning franchise if the coach is looking elsewhere? If Bud isn't 100% bought into the direction of this franchise then he needs to leave
Yep. We aren't trying to win. It's understood. That being said, when his contract is up, we will have one of the most talented teams in the NBA.

Of course the ATL
Taking 40 years to get beyond the second round is a bad look, trading for danny Manning is a bad look

I don't think anyone would deny that, but if Bud isn't 100% bought in to the plan why would y'all want him here? We need a coach 100% bought into the plan and comfortable with the growing pains this roster is going to endure. Bud seeking permission to talk to other teams indicates he wants out and if he does we should let him go

@Primetime21 rebuild similar to Golden State, not Philly. Many people in here are fixated on Philly's rebuild but our GM Travis Schlenk was the Assistant GM at Golden State so he wants a rebuild that will look like Golden State's where they weren't the worst team but were a lottery team and able to pick Steph (7th), Klay (11th) and Draymond (2nd round). Schlenk isn't gonna construct a 10-15 win roster like Sam Hinkie did for Philly for a few years. The roster will remain young & competitive despite its talent limitations

The plan this offseason is to acquire picks, gain roster flexibility and take on bad contracts. This is a definite lottery team coming into next season and probably won't be ready to win for at least 3 years so I'd say 2021 at the earliest

Mike Budenholzer, the Atlanta Hawks head coach who met with the Suns regarding their head coaching vacancy this week, will interview with the New York Knicks after removing himself as a candidate for the same position in Phoenix, reports Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Budenholzer, a Holbrook, Ariz., native, met with the Suns on Monday and Tuesday before ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported he removed himself from consideration.

Bud hoeing himself out now. He can GTFOH :camby:
