What do you think Schroeder is worth? He's a bottom 5 PG in the league defensively and is a high usage, turnover prone guard with an iffy jump shot. Why would any team give up a lottery pick for him?

He still average 18 and 6 the last 2 years and he's only 24. There value there, I know we're butt hurt about what he said.

We can trade him to Philly for the 10th pick and Jared Bayless. They'll get a guard who can penetrate to the basket and they can put Simmons at the 4 at times. That's what they were doing this playoffs when they inserted McConnell to the starting lineup we'll take Bayless contract off their hands to give them cap flexibitly. We benefit by getting the 10th pick and that will have us with 3 picks in the top 20.

I posted a scenario in random thoughts. Would you do this?

Schroder +19 + 30 for Young + 23 + 50 is the best they can do.

that or Jefferson /Poythress instead of Young and then the Hawks can just cut Al and Poythress immediately with no cap issues.
