Thanks for the details, these boxing titles with its rules can be very confusing. It's also crazy how fighters(Champions) can hold up other fighters if they are injured, suspended or ducking.
It is what it is
out of every elements of pro boxing, organizing bodies are what I like the least
Like... boxing never gonna be a fully organized, centrally controlled sport, it's just not in the nature of it. That is both good and bad... It's bad because there is favoritism, unfairness, corruption, shytloads of titles and etc... and it is good because stories and characters which couldn't happen or exist in other sports ruled by a centralized body.
My problem with the organizations that they don't add anything for the good part of the chaos and I can only connect the negativums of the sport to them. We don't really have fukkeries, stories and characters because of organizing bodies, we have favoritism, corruption and the inflation of the meaning of a "world title" from them which are less romantic characteristics of the sport.
but... I guess it stays this way, without one, the other wouldn't exist...
