Russell in theory is a solid PG to pair with Bron outside of his defense. He's someone that can run the offense and also be a decent shooter. But the 40 year old is incapable of playing anything but Bron Ball, so instead you need someone that has Elite D, can shoot the 3 and would be happy only running offense when Bron needs a breather. Players that talented aren't coming
DLO can't get to the rim and create pressure on the defense... He's a streaky 3 pt shooter who's extremely unathletic for an NBA guard. I have no idea why you think those things aren't important or just gloss over them.

You don't need someone who has elite anything at the PG. Mike Conley would have been a better PG for this team last year. You just need someone who is averagely consistent on the offensive and defensive end who can create ball pressure and stay in front of the opposing guards

Yes the Mike Conley averaging less then 10 points on 30% shooting. My point is quality players are too costly and probably ain't coming to save Bron

I would take Westbrook right now over Reaves or Dlo in a one to one swap. Westbrooks problems with the Lakers was that he was making 40 million and AD was always hurt.

At least Westbrook can get to the rim and get AD the ball consistently.

Maybe I didn't phrase it correctly, but when I was referring to Conley LAST YEAR I was talking about LAST YEARS version of Mike Conley would have been perfect for this team

I mean they aren't too costly.. the issue is that the GM and FO has done a horrific job with their MLE. They have the salaries, they just chose the wrong players routinely

I feel like there has to be something going on in the locker room. All the energy and pace they had to start the season has evaporated. That Orlando loss really demoralized them.
I actually agree with you on that I feel like the movement and stagnation of this team has been very apparent compared to what they were at the beginning of the year
