Don't no one want to risk money to be unique and come up with a fresh concept these days.

You can't take an era and try to re-create it in another era. The Fresh Prince was more than just a TV show. It represented an era. It represented some people high school years. Rebooting that show would be like trying to reboot the early mid 90's. It's impossible.

And just like Ghostbusters will flop, so would this.

Drake has bigger ambitions like film. TV is for actors that can't get movie roles or just . HBO/Showtime doesn't count.

They would have better success at rebooting the whole TNBC era with Hang Time, City Guys or Saved by the Bell. But since it isn't on Netflix or syndicated its hard to figure if there any interest.
